The Greatest VW Show on Earth

When Luke Gladys of SW Florida won 4 free tickets on Spirit Airlines to anywhere in the U.S.A. he knew immediately where he wanted to go.  The VW Classic car show in Irvine CA.  And when he shared his tickets with his friends at Bug Me Video it set in motion plans for a movie of the whole 4 day week end adventure.

  Come along as Rick, Chad, Wade, and Holly follow Luke and his friend Jennifer to DKP III cruise night at the DQ where we see legendary cars and their builders.  The next day we will go to the world famous EMPI, see the beautiful showroom of Bill & Steve’s, party with Lenny Copp at his award wining West Coast Classic Restoration shop.  Then we will visit the museum of West Coast Metric and see several famous and rare VW cars and racers.  Then we will meet long time engine builder Jeff Bancroft in his immaculate facility at Kymco Motorsport.  Darren Dudley then shares some stories of his rare finds that brought about BFY Obsolete, and finally the behind the scenes tour of Gene Berg Ent. with Clyde and Dee.  Clyde even takes Luke for what we have come to call “The Ride with Clyde” in one of his screamer bugs.

The next morning we start the day early with the O.C.T.O. vintage bus show, the largest of its kind in the country.  Then back to the beautiful Irvine Crowne Plaza Hotel for the huge toy and literature show.  Then in the evening come along with Luke and nearly 300 more on the Berg rally, which ends with another gathering of VWs at Fuddruckers restaurant. 

Sunday is the grand finale, the greatest VW show on earth, the” VW CLASSIC”. 

You will just have to see it to believe it!!
